We did it!
I see now that it takes an army to bring a little Farmer’s Market booth to life, but we did it! The first week was so much fun, and I am overwhelmed by everyone that stopped by to show their support. I owe a debt of gratitude to Linette Lao from Invisible Engines, Leisa Thompson Photography, and all my dear friends that taste-tested over and over again, brainstormed packaging ideas, and offered support in every way possible. I would have never made it without all of you! Week 1, Cinco de Mayo inspired, was so much fun! What a special beginning for Flour Lab.
I was excited to see rhubarb showing up at the market, and have worked it into this week’s menu in honor of Mother’s Day. This week’s feature will be Rhubarb Cupcakes with Lemon Curd and Strawberry Buttercream Frosting. In loving memory of Grandma Belle, and my Mother Joan – the “Rhubarb Queen”.
